3M Cloth Cone 777F reaches into corners, inside surfaces and tight spaces to refine welds, remove machine tool marks, and polish. Built with 3M Ceramic Abrasive Grain on a water resistant polyester cloth backing, it can be run wet or dry. A resin bond is heat resistant and a grinding aid helps to run cool, especially on heat sensitive metals like stainless steel and nickel alloys.

Long Life. Fast Cutting. Cool Running.
One of 3M's best cloth-backed abrasives for stainless steels, aluminum and carbon steel, 3M Cloth Cone 777F is used with die grinders. 3M-engineered high-performance ceramic abrasive grain is blended with aluminum oxide for a combination of durability and cutting efficiency. The heavy, water-resistant polyester backing supports medium-pressure applications, a consistent cut-rate, and both wet and dry applications.
Tackle Tight Corners
This specialty abrasive is a valuable tool for reaching into corners, where larger diameter tools can't work. It is effective for flash removal, as well as polishing or removing machine tool marks and edge breaking.
Cloth cones mount onto a compatible mandrel (sold separately) that attaches to a die grinder or power drill. The center hole diameter of the cone must be equal to the diameter of the mandrel pilot inserted into the cone.
Best for Heat-Sensitive Metals
Ideally suited for heat sensitive metals like stainless steel, aluminum and nickel alloys, 3M Cloth Cone 777F combines all the right features to grind cooler with an efficient and faster cut.
