long description:
3M Flexible Foam makes for fast, easy and effective replacement of OEM flexible foams in automotive applications. A convenient 200 mL cartridge contains two-part urethane material that expands to 10 times its liquid volume, creating a closed-cell foam that wont shrink and closely mimics OEM foam properties for insulation, sound-deadening and temperature resistance.
OEM Quality Foam in an Easy-to-Use Cartridge
From the start, 3M Flexible Foam makes it simple and cost-effective to replace OEM foams during auto maintenance and repair. The two-part urethane foam-in-place material arrives in a compact and convenient 200 mL cartridge. It works with 3M Automix applicators including the 3M Premium Manual Applicator 08117, mixes directly from the mixing nozzle and applies as a mixed liquid directly into common collision repair applications. This streamlines your flexible foam replacement procedures across a variety of jobs including vehicle trunks, door skins and intrusion beams, roof bows, body panels and many other auto body cavities.

Flexible Foam that Works Fast and Keeps Working
The mixed liquid affords a five-minute working time, helping to ensure proper placement. It expands to 10 times its liquid volume, limiting the amount of material you need to use per application and saving material costs even when filling large cavities. The foam cures in one hour, which maximizes your worktime and increases vehicle throughput in the shop. It is also a 100 percent solids material, meaning it will not shrink and draw in or wrinkle body panels over time.
Foam Science from 3M
By itself, our 3M Flexible Foam provides key advantages for collision repair technicians with its 10-to-1 expansion from liquid to foam, its ability to remain soft and flexible without shrinking and its insulation and sound-deadening properties. Along with our 3M Automix applicators, it makes your entire range of foam replacement applications more streamlined and more cost-effective.
