ForceField FireGuard Z-1 Tie-Coat is a water-based sealant designed to be used between FireGuard E-84® Intumescent Coating and an approved topcoat. Suitable for both interior and exterior applications, this light gray, fire-retardant coating can be applied by brush, roller, or spray (recommended). It dries smooth so your topcoat can be easily applied.
FireGuard Z-1 Tie-Coat can be used on surfaces treated with FireGuard E-84 including:
Sheetrock
Oriented strand board (OSB)
Sheet metal
PVC
Steel
Interior woods
Exterior woods
