The Escalator package is manufactured to suit all types of installations and requirements. It is specifically designed to utilise nonproprietary processes, technologies and products. An additional benefit of this being the owners ability to choose the installer and service provider with absolute freedom. Every effort is made to produce an Escalator with the smallest environmental footprint we can achieve. Manufacturing processes are free of dangerous and harmful chlorinated solvents and CFC chemicals. Electrical cabling is halogen free, low smoke and flame retardant. Paints and finishes are lead and cadmium free. Electrical components and devices used are free from polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs). Plastics used are produced without the use of Cadmium stabilizers. LED lighting is non-toxic and mercury free. Biodegradable oils and greases are used wherever practical. At the end of life ninety percent of the metal and glass is recyclable. Plastics and rubbers can be used in moulding applications and energy recovery. Recycling effectively reduces the amount of waste that goes to landfill.
