LouverShade external retractable horizontal louver systems are available in three sizes, 3, 4 and 6. All sizes include the ability to lower, tilt and fully retract . Slat options include perforated or non-perforated with a maximum width of 20 ft. (6 meters) and a maximum drop of 30 ft. Industrial quality components include aluminum slats, stainless steel 316 marine grade cable guides, stainless steel tension brackets, Kevlar reinforced lifting tape and ladder braids, extruded aluminum fixing brackets and L-shaped termination brackets. Head rails, slats, cable guides and extruded aluminum bottom rails are engineered to withstand wind resistance of up to 56 mph. Automation options include the ability to be integrated with all building management systems including those that support BACnet and KNX. All systems are available with design formats in CAD and BIM 3D modeling that includes Revit and ArchiCAD. A five year warranty applies to all components including operating mechanisms and controls.
