Marmoweld is made of a solidified adhesive which is melted and fused (by use of a hot air welding gun) into a joint that has been grooved in the material. Due to the developments and advancements made over the last decade with the combination of Marmoleum Topshield 2, improvements in water-based adhesives, and with our commitment to education of proper installation, care and maintenance procedures and environmental stewardship, heat welding is no longer necessary for most applications.
