Coatings – Benetex OB Plus is recommended in clear-coat applications where efficiency of
dispersion and a smooth coating appearance are required.
Benetex OB Plus can be used in other applications as well, including plastics (PVC, polyethylene,
polypropylene, cellulose acetate, polystyrene, polycarbonate, acrylics, polyurethane, linear
polyester, polyamides), printing inks, coatings, synthetic fibers, adhesives, and sealants. It is also
useful as a tracer in coatings, adhesives, and sealants to ensure uniform coverage has been achieved.

Benetex OB Plus is a heat resistant, solvent soluble, chemically stable fluorescent whitener
supplied in a fine powder form that is easier to dissolve and/or disperse as compared to
conventional product forms of larger particle size. This form is ideal for screen-printing and coating
applications. Like other optical brighteners, Benetex OB Plus functions by a fluorescence process
involving absorption of invisible UV light and emission of visible blue light.
