Description
Chemical substance used in food, animal feedstuffs, and some non-food products to produce or alter taste or odour or nutritional value. Used to stimulate the human taste chemical senses or to enhance nutritional value. Also referred to as a flavouring agent or bittering agent (denaturant); vitamins or minerals.
